Main Moon! Fairly decent Americanized Chinese option in Hamilton, NY. Given that it is the 3rd smallest college town in America, that is pretty good! 2 things people need to understand when going to a take-out Chinese joint; don't expect good service, don't expect overly healthy options, and don't expect a fine dining experience. What you will get is a decent meal for a very good price. I always used to hit up the buffet on Friday's after my morning class then nap until nighttime, oh the memories! PS - they don't validate parking.
I love Main Moon. The food is wonderful (my only complaint is that they don't make my favorite - Ma Po Tofu..) The proprietoress is very friendly and efficient. Turn around is very fast (except at prime take-out time) and always accurate to the request. Parking can be a problem and will be worse when the new condos are finished and filled. Nonetheless, an excellent place for excellent Chinese food.
